2. Do I need to have an account with Al Rajhi Bank to send remittances?
No, you do not need to have an account with Al Rajhi Bank. Just visit any Tahweel Al Rajhi Center, get a Remittance Card and send your money to your loved ones.
3. What do I need to do to send a remittance?
Visit any of over 100 Tahweel Al Rajhi remittance centers around the Kingdom and get your “Remittance Card” to enable you to send remittances whenever you like from anywhere, as long as you are a resident in the Kingdom
4.What are the requirements to get a “Remittance Card?”
The requirements are;
a)To fill up an application form to apply for the Express Remittance Membership Card
b)Also, fill out the details on a separate form we provide, to add beneficiaries to your membership. Both forms can be filled and submitted through our Website. Please refer to the HELP link for details.
c) Copies of the following documents need to be attached with the originals for verification at our Tahweel Al Rajhi Centers.
- ID (National ID or Iqama)
- Passport (if you are carrying an old Iqama)
5.Can I add new beneficiaries whenever I like?
Yes, you can do this by filling out the new beneficiaries’ details as mentioned under 3 (b) above.

Do I need to fill a form whenever I visit Tahweel Al Rajhi to send remittances?
No need to fill out any additional forms if you are sending your remittance to an already existing beneficiary.
7. What are the facilities you have around the world to send remittances?
a)You can purchase drafts in all major currencies drawn on our correspondent banks for fees as low as SAR 4-00 and payable anywhere in the world
b)You can send “Express Remittances” to the credit of account in all major currencies anywhere in the world. Remittances are sent through electronic channels and are payable in 24 to 72 hours
c)You can send remittances, payable in cash in two business hours to India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Turkey, UAE, Syria, and Kuwait
d)You can send instant money, payable in cash to India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine
e)You can send Door-to-Door remittances to Egypt and the Philippines, payable in 1- 5 days depending on the distance
8.Can I open an account with Tahweel Al Rajhi?
No, you can’t open an account with Tahweel Al Rajhi as per Saudi Central Bank rules. These centers exist to serve remittance customers. However, you can open your account in any of our 500 branches around the Kingdom. Please visit any of our branches, and let us serve you and open your Al Rajhi Bank account.
